Flipkart is moving towards eco-friendly packaging

Flipkart also announced its commitment to eliminate use of plastics in packaging and that by March 2021 they will move towards 100% recycled plastic consumption in its own supply chain.

The e-commerce marketplace plans to introduce eco-friendly paper shreds, replacing poly pouches with recycled paper bags and will also file an application under EPR (Extended producer responsibility) framework, to target 30% plastic waste collection back this year.

As a citizen of country we all need to come forward to eliminate the risk of plastic , government can't do anything if the people of the nation don't want to do something. we should act like a responsible citizen because it's high time to look upon plastic issue , not just human beings but other living organisms, particularly marine animals can be harmed either by mechanical effect such as entanglement in plastic objects, problem related to ingestion of plastic waste or through exposure to chemicals within plastics that interfere with their physiology. so take a challenge to make mother earth free from plastics.
