Journey of 'TRASH AND PLASTIC' in Singapore

It takes 500 years years for a plastic bag to disappear or decompose.

Nowadays, almost everyone eats package food, chips, drinks etc which came in plastic packaging. we open the packet eat it up and throw the package in the dustbin and this plastic sits for 100 of years waiting to decompose in a landfill. And while the rest of the world is trying to figure out what to do with these plastic waste a tiny country 'Singapore' had figured out a way how to make this trash and plastic waste disappear in one day.

Singapore is a tiny country and it don't have any space for thrash so they figured out how to deal with this problem

First they collect entire country's trash for various places and then they take it to a incineration plant where they burn it. Inside that incineration plant there is a fire that it burn 24 hours and 365 day which have a temperature of over 1000 degree Celsius which eats the trash away and generate heat and energy to light up thousands of homes.

From their incineration process they harness the heat to generate electricity and the most amazing thing is this process doesn't even hurt the environment

When we burn trash it generates toxic smokes but they filter out smoke in a complicated process to make it so clean that it is cleaner than the air around us. The air that come out their chimney is smaller than one micron which is very very clean. During this process 90% of trash disappears in couple of hours and the reaming 10% turns to ash. The ash is toxic just like smoke so they take it and ship it far away to a man made island where they dump all of it into a special water that doesn't touch the ocean water and there ash stays under water forever hidden from everyone.

This process is so clean that corals are still alive, the jungles are still green and the animals are still around at that island.

In other words Singapore Collects Trash, Burns it, Creates Electricity, Filters out the Smoke, Hides the Ashes Underwater, And Makes Thrash Bags Disappear in One day instead   of 500 years.

If every country could handle our trash same way Singapore does then we would have a much cleaner world a world where a snack bag doesn't exist for more than one day.
